Tech Tips

    Directions in an Emergency

We installed two pamphlet boxes—one outside each entrance to our clinic—where we provide double-sided information sheets with directions to the two emergency veterinary clinics in our area. If clients come to us after hours, they have the information they need to get to the proper emergency facility.

    Drying Rebreathing Bags

One of our technicians bought a circular sock dryer at a dollar store and suggested we use it for drying our rebreathing bags. We simply attach the bags to the clothespins on the dryer. The system works really well, and we use it on a daily basis.

A Key for a Healthy Start

We provide new puppy and kitten kits for our clients to take home after their visits. In addition to educational materials, samples, and vaccination schedules, we include a key chain—featuring our logo on one side and the pet’s photo on the other—and remind clients to visit our Web site to view their pets’ pictures.
